ADING has been supporting the Macedonian Association of Structural Engineers (MASE) for years, and we were present on the 20th jubilee scientific symposium organised by the Association this year too. The symposium which was visited by more than 600 guests from all over the world, was held on the 60th anniversary of the Skopje earthquake, under the motto „RESILIENT STRUCTURES“ on 28. and 29. September.

The lead manager Nikola Uzunov, part of Application and Sales, held a talk during the afternoon session of the 1st day, on topic „Quality Concrete, a guarantee for safety and durability of reinforced concrete constructions“. He underlined the importance of the concrete quality when building, with special accent on seismic active areas, as well as about its durability and the need of protecting the construction surface in chemically aggressive urban areas.

Irina Stefanovska, lead manager for material testing in the Institute, had exposition of her paperwork, titled “Stimulated autogenous self-healing of cement materials by application of fly ash and crystal formation admixtures”.

ADING, Faculty of Civil Engineering - Skopje and IZIIS were given a special recognition for accomplishment in the area of building construction, in the category “Science for 2022”, for the project “Experimental research of seismic capacity of unreinforced masonry buildings by skim-coating again”. Damchevski Bojan,  lead manager from Application and Sale and Janchev Dime, manager of the Institute and factory, were part of this research.
