Organized by DIMK, SIGP, and IMS, an International Symposium on Research and Application of Contemporary Achievements in Civil Engineering in the Field of Materials and Structures, was held in Serbia from May 21 to 23.

The topics covered at the symposium included:

• Research of modern construction materials and their application

• Theoretical and experimental analysis of structures

• Design and construction of buildings from a sustainable development perspective

• Seismic-resistant design and construction

• Project management in civil engineering

• Assessment, maintenance, and rehabilitation of construction structures

• Standardization – technical regulations and quality systems

• Environmental protection and energy efficiency in modern construction

• Raw material base and new technological processes

• Aspects of using clay-based products
